then he's already dug his own grave. if the decentralized one means no central controls, then they can't ban/shadow ban people and free speech is actually allowed, everyone will flock to it and exposed the frauds for what they are.

or...it's just a crap twitter 2.0 but they ignore old twitter and old twitter becomes the free speech platform because jackass isn't watching it anymore, and nobody uses to the new one because why use one that censors ?

he'll be doing the one thing that can ruin his echo chamber, creating a twitter alternative.

Just because something is decentralized doesn't mean that it can't be authoritarian. Crypto coins for example; Bitcoin and Montero are examples of decentralized & anonymous networks. Neo coin is an example of decentralized & identified, meaning you must have a confirmed identity to trade/ do business with another confirmed identity. Neo is basically the CCP's crypto. We should all be buying Bitcoin tbh

Already an buying it every paycheck. Good to see pedes on here supporting Bitcoin, monero, and other free-speech, supply capped, decentralized currencies.

All the social media sites are dead men walking. They will become branded skins. The only thing slowing down the transition is the inertia of the large subscriber base.

We are almost exactly in the same situation as the telephone exchanges of the late 1800’s. Eventually, all the independent exchanges were required to interconnect. Once that happens, there can be hundreds, thousands of companies touting their own interfaces (skins) and types of content controls.

I noticed Twitter's stock went up 10 points right after they announced ousting Jack Dorsey

Singer is a money money man. His investments and stock buys are all about the money. He knows alI enacting half the country is bad for business.

Dorsey is ideology first, money 2nd

I'd rather a Trump Mega donor buy a stake in Reddit and push Spez the Cuck out.

THIS

Problem with that is Reddit doesn't make money, and most of POTUS' supporters are capitalists.

None of these sites make money. Ads are worthless and they probably get most of their investment from ideological investors (Saudi Arabia, Snoop Dogg [lmao], Peter Thiel, etc).

Speaking of which, Peter Thiel has been pretty worthless for the right. He's probably too busy fucking Sam Altman in the ass. His gawker beatdown was nice, but it seems like he only did it because he got insulted.

I'm sure you wouldn't do much useful if you were a billionaire either, so we agree on something.

Paul Singer is a Never Trumper. He will just replace Jack with someone just as cucked like Paul Ryan.

Paul Singer has a single purpose -- to move in, destabilize, make a load of money, and move on. Any political overtones are sheer theater.

I have a teeny shred of hope it would go well seasoned with a gallon of suspicion.

Another commie that’ll become “a victim of capitalism”

Hmmmmm, very interdasting. ???

Paul Singer is bad news. The best case would be for decent people to leave hands off Twitter. Twittter is heavily biased, heavily censored -- it's a trap.

Trump is too entrenched for any Republican to make a successful play against him. Any Republican fuckery is targeting 2024 when they need to pick a Trump successor. I predict a neocon push because it will be a chance for them to try and take back the party.

Trump plus sports is probably 80% of Twitter. You knock out Trump and it would be a material hit to their business.

I'm only using Twitter for my MEME's and showing support to fellow Americans now nothing else...

If Twitter were gone, the left might have to use critical thinking again. I think the social media platform is driving them crazy. Like actually insane.

Paul Singer is a vulture capitalist piece of absolute shit. He actually makes socialism look attractive. He and his dirty money should be shunned by all sides.

F the Guardian. Super cucked.

But the Singer news seems like a relatively positive move

If i was a billionaire, I'd buy up a telecoms/internet company and just block their traffic due to it being "harmful content".

The "oust" part is "sources said"

aka fake news
