If 50 people have symptoms, and 25+ of them are workers at the hospital, that shit is spread all over town by now. its unstoppable. seal off all the liberal states now while we have a chance.

There are plenty of Chinese in the NW, it could have originally come from a visitor. Health facilities in my experience have plenty of people passing from one to another, e.g. lab people, doctors visiting patients, agency nurses, same dietary suppliers, ambulance personnel, clergy. No surprise if it spreads that way.

Apparently. Somebody gave DJT wrong info. Somebody hinted here that it was Rosenstein's sister, the CDC spokesperson.

CDC issued a correction. The person in Washington who died was a man in his 50s.

A man in King County has died due to a novel coronavirus infection, the first fatality associated with the illness in the United States, and more local cases were identified Saturday, prompting the governor to declare state of emergency to try to contain a virus that has killed more than 2,900 people globally.

The 50-year-old man was a patient at EvergreenHealth Medical Center in Kirkland. He had an underlying chronic health condition but no history of travel or contact with an infected person. He died Friday, according to EvergreenHealth.
