It is in fact not compromised. It's not possible to properly moderate and so still locked, but the canary is still alive:

They haven't appointed anyone yet. And even if they did, the subreddit is restricted. Until both those things change, the canary seal is intact.

You're confusing "open for business" and "everything is ok" with "we don't control the environment".

If a day comes when you can post, but the mods don't feel the moderators in place are loyal to the subreddit, THEN the canary will be dead.

See the sticky. It was put in restricted mode. Only mods and verified users like fitton can post. It’s dead.

Through the grace of T_D, a plebe like me can still post.

Don't delete account. Unsubscribe to every subreddit except TD. Leave active. Hurt them in advertising

Staying on Reddit but not participating HELPS Reddit, it doesn't hurt them. It allows them to both censor us and also sell us as "users" to advertisers.

Literally everyone here got it. It’s intentional. The mods have all the gory details in a stickied post on both sites. Thedonald.win is our new home now. ???⚖️

On a side note: I posted on TIL today. Title of my post, TIL if reddit owner's dont agree with your opinion, they get rid of you. You have to attache a URL to the post, so I posted Tucker discussing the r/the_Donald and magically it disappeared within minutes. There must be an algorithm that "sees" anything related and just wipes it clean. Reddit must pay!
