Just because you don’t like the way reddit is treating you, that is no reason to come here and ask the mods here to turn this beautiful place in to “reddit”
The great guys & gals who invested so much time and effort to start and run this joint have done a wonderful job. It can not be easy.....people like me get to sit on this side and enjoy.
My guess is after the Reddit admins gave the warning about upvoting "violating content" everyone went full on ape shit and reposted and made new memes of it. So I believe the mods just had to lock it up because it was out of control, from what I've read.
And that's fine. The folks who run this site can be proud knowing they did all the right stuff and just the right time. But all OC must be branded T_Dw and spread shamelessly. Get the hacker 4chin on it.
There's a stickied announcement on the front page of The_Donald. The moderators got fired, and there's nobody to police the incoming leftist trolls who are trying to post quarantine-raising crap. Rather than be inundated in malevolent posts, they closed it.
I left reddit 48 hours ago. Completely disengaged. It was the best thing I have done for myself in a while. How many wasted hours there and for what? It is a time-suck With almost no redeeming value. If you haven’t already, regardless of the T_D issues, consider giving it up for your own mental benefit. Then go spend time with family or friends, go outside, and check on .win occasionally. Trust me - your life will be much better!
I don't think it's slow. The pace of new posting has really picked up, even excluding the porn, racist crap, and Joos-on-the brain drivel from the leftists.
The only thing missing now is the local news, both US and worldwide. We got some with the Wuhan coronavirus stories, and Brexit, so I think it will develop.
Love this new home. Only 2 minor technical problems that make it difficult compared to Reddit...
There is no set up 2 automatically bring up new.
Sorts by "hot" as default and you have to go to "new" each time manually.
Loading pics without having to go through a separate site to convert into a link. I will miss that ounce of simplicity from Reddit. But other than that... This place ROCKS! Thank you so much for building it ?

I used to have 2 permanently pinned tabs in my browser, for T_Dr and T_Dw... now there is only 1. The highlander of pinned tabs, if you will.

I just want it to be faster. During peak times the memes and links take sooooo long to load. I end up leaving and doing something else.

I hate to tell you this, but Oregon is getting to be much worse than California. At least there's millions of Pedes in California.
Personally I think reddit was a shitty site and I never understood why It became the standard for forums.
I've been on a few much smaller sites that blow reddit out of the water as far as features, personalization and ease.
This site could become much better than reddit and I wouldn't mind donating to make sure it does.
They roll out new features now abd then. I like it fine as it is.

It's in your settings at the bottom of the page. Mine are set to Inline and it works for most posts.
I've only got it on my phone. Can't find settings anywhere.
Don't turn this place into the North Idaho of the internet.
