Yeah, seems strange to drop out right before the big primary day. Especially considering he's in 3'rd place delegate-wise. My guess is that Mini Mike paid him off.

I'm sure the party was involved as well. They are desperate to unite around a non-Bernie candidate. But the party is broke and Mini-Mike is flush with cash. Hillary bailed out the party in 2016. I can see Mini-Mike doing this in 2020. Just my theory, for what it's worth.

I have to wonder if he was in it like all the others just for scalping the campaign donations and never was in it to win it. Well, regardless, he's probably going to enjoy some of that 'sizable war chest' that he 'amassed'.
