I have a feeling it's the prior in this case. I think he realized he was on the wrong side if he wanted to be financially successful and have a chance in the future. He's already hated now by the left for his "betrayal". And most of Conservatives for the dossier. I imagine he doesn't have too many friends left and is desperately clinging on to whatever relevancy he can maintain. I just look at what drives all of these types and it all comes back to one thing. Money. Everything they do is money motivated. When they saw that SJW feminazi pandering wasn't getting them anywhere (in most cases they lost money), time to switch to the winning team. I'm not saying trust him by any means.
