Ten minutes before the Buttplug news broke, they were going on about how Buttplug supporters despised Comrade Bernie, now they're going on about how they're going to get all these Buttplug supporters because Buttplug supporters second choice was Bernie (not true, they like Biden and Bloomberg).
More likely CIA Pete was given marching orders to quit by his establishment handlers. They can't let Bernie get too far ahead or it will fracture the base when they inevitably cheat him out of the primary (again).
