This is the sort of thing I wish more people on our side would do. The ones with the drive to do it usually don't have the wherewithal to do it, and vice versa.

I think the issue is that leftists are willing to spend their money on controlling info and cultural influence, while wealthy conservatives tend to overlook those factors and focus on financial returns. Twitter is a poor monetary risk.

They overlook such things at their own peril. Part of the trouble with conservatives over the last 20 years is that they haven't been fighting the right battles; they've been trying to win in Washington, but as long as the Left continues to win the culture war there's no hope. Politics is downstream from culture -- and it's about goddamn time the Right get that through their heads.
