Things would not go the way they want. It would play out the same as Rome.... The traitors in the Senate would be executed, Pedes would win a quick civil war, and we'd have an Emperor named "Trump" for the next 500 years, starting with Don Jr.

I'm laughing at the thought that 2000 years from now several countries word for "president" are local variations of the word "Trump".
