There is a group of fake accounts posing as conservatives. They have hijacked the Tucker Carlson sub and say everything hateful against Jews. They play the white supremacist role and most don't even live in the US.
I'm not sure what an LI tag is, but identification by IP address doesn't work, for two reasons:
Many users share an IP address, from the smallest case where family members use the same WiFi access point, up to companies and even ISPs use a gateway/caching server.
Very few users have a fixed IP address. Your ISP may rotate your IP address at your home, and your IP address can change if you are mobile. Either way, the probability is high that you would eventually be assigned an IP that is already assigned to another TD user.
If there is ever a wide scale adoption of IPv6, you might have your own IP address (although that would make routing difficult). But, that would have some serious implications for privacy: any request you make to any server could be easily associated with you.

Seems evidence exists to show that some fuckery happened leading to a ban.
Standard reddit move imo.

That's a common theme when reddit is kicking people off the platform. It's been happening for years now.
This is why we should request LI tags and 1 ID by IP address.
