No idea man. You can’t rely on any agreement with Taliban or any other entity that fights for an ideology. As far as I know the Afghan government is our tenuous ally and them being attacked is a provocation even if the taliban doesn’t “attack foreign military”. I’ve been there several times and the Taliban was the least of our worries. They just have a recognizable name. Taliban is basically a radical group who holds power over the people through fear and holding them to the extremest view of the Quran.

Speaking yesterday about this subject, it is clear to me that he has cornered the Taliban with their own actions allowing for a major and swift retaliation that couldn’t commence without changing the status quo.

Remove our boys, give the Taliban some rope and wait for the inevitable. Then Trump can come correct with new age weapons and tactics to dismantle these fuckers just like he did isis.

This move hinges on what appears to be inevitable re-election for Trump. The Taliban knows they can’t hold out for 4 years so they pretend to come to the table as a mitigator hoping to buy time. They’ve walked directly into the future hoping to stay relevant not realizing it’s the first steps toward their own demise.
