Please excuse me, but I keep seeing the word "pede" being bandied around here. The only connotation of which I am aware is not one someone would be proud to be labeled. What does this word mean in the land of Trump?

During the 2016 election, a meme got started in which pede was short for centipede. It comes from a song by Knife Party, "Centipede". The lyrics are:
"Giant tropical centipedes share their territories with tarantulas.
Despite it's impressive length, it's a nimble navigator, and some can be highly venomous.
As quick as lightning, just like the tarantula it's killing,
The centipede has two curved hollow fangs which inject paralyzing venom.
Even tarantulas aren't immune from an ambush.
This centipede is a predator..."
The implication is that we 'little people', conservatives, are like the centipede: easily overlooked and dismissed, but at great potential peril to those who do so because we're nimble navigators and predators.
