If tdw had a fact checker I'd also be up in arms. Fact checkers are simply censors. This is because most such facts are unverifiable. We'll never see the actual bill in this case. And even if we did, how do you know it was paid. How do you know it's real and not a fake paper. How do you know they didn't add cash. Etc. Unprovable.
