To start I'm not ashamed to be republican TRUMP 2020.

So, while voting the lines were separate one for republicans (3 in line) and one for democrats (60+ in line.) Why should other people know my party affiliation by the line I stand-in? Shouldn't that be private information? Imagine all the weaklings that decided to jump in the democrat line to not feel like an "outcast".

Texas, slowly becoming California.

Happened here in Washington when I was a kid, decades ago. It's a weird zombie creep apocalypse.

It's a sad thing to see, but it's true. Especially in the main cities DFW, Austin, Houston, etc.. What's most frustrating is how intolerant these people that preach it all the time have become. I've lost countless "family" and "friends" for being republican.

My coworkers made it clear that they suckle at the MSM teet. I keep my profile low except for July 4th and election day.

It's easy to get sucked into it too. I was going to vote Bernie 2016, but had a coming to Jesus moment. It makes sense though I was surrounded by MSM indoctrinated sheeple.

HFC! Texas is better than that!

In this manufactured divisive political climate, and voting in the same area you live and shop? Doesn't sound like a good idea.
You can certainly call your election board to inquire and voice your opinion. I think I would if it happened to me.

Oh yeah I'm planning on calling everyone I can and sending some fruitful emails.

When I voted there was actually no line, but they did not separate voters by party physically; you got to choose which party's primary on the electronic voting device in the booth. Unless they had some physical reason (paper ballots?), it sounds like at least minor shenanigans going on.

It doesn't surprise me the least bit. I live in a district that was democrat during the 2018 midterm, and these folks are slimey to say the least.

Me too. I reported the polling station because some idiot was walking around the voting booth in decked out Beto shit. I told him Im voting for Cruz and reported it, that shit is illegal in TX.

Urban area? Hispanic area, black area? I'm in Texas, have never missed an election here in over 40 years, never have seen separate lines but then I only vote in one spot.

We do separate machines, one group for Patriots and one for traitors, yeah, but not separate lines.

But I'm in Trump country too, in the woods outside of Houston. I've also never seen traitors outnumber Patriots with such a ratio here in Texas, either.

Do you honestly imagine people would change their vote because of a line?

I'm in a suburb of a major city. I personally think yes they would change a vote based on that. I think it's human nature to take the path of least resistance, and if they're weak they will.

Well if that's true, if people really are now demonstrating NPC characteristics then the Human Race is deaddeaddead.

I could see that in 8th grade voting for class pres or something, but if they do it in real life....or, if your confidence in People has been eroded by Societal behaviors sufficient to warrant that thinking... then our Society, our American Experiment is under extreme duress.

Sheeps I guess.

It's interesting to see how people conform. If you look up the Asch conformity experiments (one of many.) You'll see people will consciously choose something they know is wrong just because the majority did too.

Yeah, I know what you're saying and people will be swayed by 'peer pressures', sure. I disagree with the methodology Asch used but still the point is somewhat valid. Young Humans are more susceptible, inexperience leading to doubt and refusing one's own instincts and judgement, that aspect of it has more validity of course. My first election I voted for Carter, because my Mom was a yellow dog dem- big FDR fan - and so I imagined I must be one too. Especially when Nixon was leaving a bad taste for repubs. Carter was a Yuge mistake, so I learned both parties were false. That was my red pilling process, been trying to vote out corruptocrats ever since.

And I have always known some people vote from a one issue perspective, whatever their issue is. That paradigm never ceases to amaze me; a candidate only has to lie to 'you' about one thing, convincing you he is with you, and you're all in.

It just seems odd to think we have got to a point where political hate/shame is warping Freedom.

Here in South Texas, the polling places are completely separate for Republicans and Democrats.

1
SuddyG [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

I'd much rather that than being stared down by 60+ democrats, but still sounds like a sham to me.
