I sent a game back to Gamefly when the text before the game's title even game out had to boast about their staff including LGBT people. I'm like... a game that uses that as bragging rights... not interested.
I heard good things about Outer Worlds, and I was a fan of Fallout New Vegas. Was funny for a few minutes, then I got tired of the caricature of Capitalism. Sad.
I thought about getting Outer Worlds, but I personally know some of the writers there. Let's just say they are not the type that are willing to discuss politics.
I had never heard of White Privilege in my life until I got hired and got told by non-whites that the only reason I was hired was because I was white.
I got to admit, I'm kind of use to the "everyone is bisexual" twist for most NPC romances.
But I got irritated when a Lesbian NPC who learned her Engineering skill from her parents, and was expected to teach them to her children -- but she wasn't having any, because she was a lesbian, and hitting on the girl on my team... I'm like... WTF?
