Same page, for me. Look at my other posts on the subject. I don’t like it.

But I love the fact that we can debate it, police ourselves, and choose greatness... not have it shoved down our throats, is my point.

We don’t need admins to police us.

We can police ourselves.

Like PinkoPatrol already pointed out, anything illegal is not covered by the first amendment. Yelling "fire" in a theater is not legal. It's never okay to do that.

You cannot say things to incite an unlawful riot, panic or violence. Yelling "fire" in a crowded theater when there is no fire is how one judge, Oliver Wendell Holmes, paraphrased it to make it simple. You could yell "fire" if there really was one but if you did it without a fire and caused someone harm, you will go to jail for what you said.

I fucking LOVE free speech! You will never, ever convince me otherwise. I don't care how many legal but disgusting examples you throw out. 1st Amendment is crucial to all other freedoms.

Christ, did you not even read my message?

I already agreed it’s in poor taste.

I also support the right for people to be insensitive assholes if they want to be.

That is their choice.

Mine is to not participate and voice my opinion, as I have, and as you have.
