I am currently single but if I do end up with a girlfriend one day, I'd prefer her to be politically neutral. Not super liberal or conservative. I don't want politics in a relationship.

My two cents: you do need politics in a relationship. Values influence work ethic, how you raise children, how to save money, balance of 'work' in the relationship, etc. Very important!

MAGA husband to a MAGA wife, reporting in: I mean no disrespect, but are you saying that one of you votes for policies that protect your children while the other votes against them?

As I see it, the most important topics to agree on with a potential spouse are the three things you never discuss: religion, politics, and the great pumpkin.

IMHO, the religion and politics of a person are very informative about their values, and in the long term its that ability to see eye to eye on the important stuff that will give a relationship its staying power.

Then you'll get what you deserve. A divorce.

Don't forget potentially giving child support and maybe alimony to a woman who will shove liberal dogma into your kids minds.
