I suspected the PoC woman candidate (Michelle Obama) was going to be the DNC play out of the gate. I'm surprised it didn't happen but at the same time, why would they stack the deck against their real pick? I think we will see the DNC's real move after Trump wins the second round. For right now I think they are "giving Bernie his shot". It's a shit shot but they can say they gave it to him. All the while, the DNC collects those funds (Mike's money, soon to be mad Bernie Bro's money and so on) it needs due to getting smashed the last time financially. I think the DNC knows they are going to lose and are therefore trying to fund raise as much as possible to have a stack in 2024 (if the money can keep from burning a hole in there pocket. They don't know how to save money you know).
Yes, they will be bringing out the real guns in 2024. It will be hard to beat Trump because of the economy too. They are trying to slow him down with the coronavirus, but even that is starting to die down media coverage. Hopefully we have a good candidate to replace Trump. I personally would like to see Cruz.
From what I have seen of Cruz, he has the glorious roundies to do the job. I should probably take a dive into the man as I have seen more than one online endorsement of him in various places.
