What if Trump wins the popular vote? Cool. But, what if in 49 states he was behind the electoral college by less than 13 (the number of electoral college for Virginia). Then, Virgina overwhelmingly votes blue which means that Virginia's electoral college seats would put the Democrat as the winner..... But, since Trump won the popular vote, Virginia goes to Trump and he ends up winning.

It's not very probable for this to happen, but it is possible.

With that said, we must go out and vote. Democrats thought Hillary had a 95% chance of winning... we need to assure Trump will win, it is up to us to vote. Do not accept somebody saying "Trump is going to win, I'll just stay home". It's up to us!

People should be saying "Trump is going to win, but they are still going to try to cheat. I'm voting anyways."

Trump is going to win. I must vote to ensure it happens.

The "give electors to the winner of the popular vote" idea is probably not legal, but the Dems will be butt-hurt when Trump wins the popular vote in addition to the electoral college.

No, it's legal. It's stupid, but it is legal. The states can dish out their electoral college votes as they see fit. Virginia has essentially given up their say in the republic for an all out democracy which is just stupid. They are giving away their own interests!
