It was during the debate where Dr. Ben didn't hear his name called. and hesitated to walk out. Donald stood by his side, which showed real character. From that moment on, I trusted that he would be great for our country. What was your moment?

This doesn’t have any personal relevance, but it was when he was giving his RNC nomination acceptance speech. He mentioned the Pulse Nightclub shooting, and how attacks on the LGBT community by radical Muslims would not be tolerated under his watch. And he received a standing ovation.
He was so touched by that he even broke script and said “I want you to know that as a Republican it makes me glad to hear that response.” (paraphrased).
I was still on the fence as a newly minted Bernie-or-bust’er, and it actually gave me goosebumps when I heard that, because he genuinely meant it. He wasn’t pandering, he was standing up for all Americans, and telling people who would want to harm us that they had to get through him first.
That’s what made me truly believe in him. I’ve found that’s one of the clips I can use to at least make lefties scratch their heads for a minute before falling back into “Orange Man Bad” mode. Or they get a computational error because Republicans are supposed to hate the gays.
