My whole family dislikes Donald Trump. So does my Church, all my friends, my local community college, and my workplace. My State mostly votes Democrat.
This community is a lot of fun, and it reminds me that I'm not alone. Thank you!

Down with the RINO’s, down with the crazy Dems! I love the MAGA repubs. Great to see everyone uniting around Trump.
Did you see Texas voted 1.8M for Trump? Even Cali had a solid 1.5M. He ran uncontested, yet people still went just to fill in the only oval ?
I did the same because I wanted to give a morale boost to my fellow Patriots. I think it worked because my energy is high just thinking about all those votes for 45 in Texas and Cali!✊?
Commiefornian reporting in. I’ll be that guy and point out that there were like six names on the ballot. But only one of them was “Donald J. Trump,” so it’s an easy choice
Holy smokes! Commiefornia is a beautiful state with all your ?Palms. My state, Minnesota, almost flipped because the Iron Range also voted Rep this time around, so it was the Twin Cities and Duluth that went blue. Very close. That was despite the Dems such as Amy Klo qmd Ilhan Omar hellbent on making us become as Cali! Godspeed my friend!
He’s getting record turn outs for an incumbent. Which is hilarious. I’m planning on voting for him in the actual election but I actually voted for a democrat in the primary, simply because I didn’t believe he had any chance to fail. I also know I’m not the only person who did that.
I have to confess. I have donated monthly to Trump since the 2016 primaries. I have to tell you, I have been freaked out totally by the thought of Sanders ruining our lovely country. So on Tuesday, I voted for Biden to get rid of Sanders. It's the first strategic, off party vote I have ever made, and I have been voting since Nixon ran. The primary isn't a bigger deal than defeating Sanders, since I can go back in November and vote for Trump and the R ticket. I am sure I am not alone in doing this, and I feel bad about not voting R, but thinking about Bernie and what he would do to me and my family got me to do it. ?
You're right! They may have the mic in Hollywood and in the Fake News, but there is a reason why they call us the silent majority! ✊?
Same in this blue state. I was just eating lunch in a quiet local spot and heard some women discussing Joe and yesterday’s Democrat primaries. I just smiled and said I like Trump and think he’s doing a great job. They stopped talking but one nodded their head in agreement. We’re not as alone as we think. Too many are just afraid to speak up. I didn’t see anyone in the place who looked like they might hit me in the face with a bike lock.?
|Too many are afraid to speak up.
That's how you know we are fighting despots. Reminds me of Baron de Montesquieu who wrote that a Republic is based on virtue, a Monarchy on honor, but Despotism is rooted in FEAR!
Do you go to the church of satan?
Find a new church.
Not always an option if still living with parents or if the spouse is bluepilled.
And “be not afraid.” JPII brought down communism by reminding people that they should not cower in fear.
You're definitely not alone, pede. I have family members, friends, and co-workers that also dislike Trump, but I've found that the majority of level-headed people know better than to allow political disagreements to ruin relationships. Hell, some of the best moments I've had the last four years were the ones spent debating politics with those people over food and drinks. And thank you for posting, because likewise it's a reminder to the rest of us that we're also not alone :)
You seem like a cool guy to chill with across a campfire over a 12 pack. I will always love my family with all my heart, but it still breaks when I hear some of their views on America. I'm just lucky that my family values blood over politics, and that even though it triggers them, I haven't lost friends over my liking Trump!
Lol campfire and beers are right up my alley for sure. For the few I've been able to convert, it's been about consistency and pointing out holes in their arguments. Also calling them out for shifts towards identity politics when discussing. Political discussion should be engaging not distancing; it sounds like your friends and family understand this which is awesome
You're right, consistancy and direct refutations of arguments is crucial. I always try to practice the Golden Rule as I argue from both right reason and human experiance, along with the Bible if the person is Christian. I don't talk politics with my family very often because they all know how I feel and I am not changing their minds, unfortunately. But yes, both sides of my family possess a culture where family is extremely valued. Differences in political beliefs won't even register on that Richtor scale!?
Got a lot of libtards in my family as well. It’s all good. There’s a lot more of us than they even think. A lot of silent supporters too...
Silent majority! ✊? We are a force the powers that be unleashed, and still don't fully comprehend. We will win 2020 and continue making America great again!??
Four kids in my family. I’m the only one who isn’t rabidly anti-Trump. Unfortunately my family isn’t as cool as yours. No talking politics allowed because they get triggered.
Marry someone awesome. Marry someone with your values and you’ll never be alone— although this place is pretty rad too.
If you travel across this nation small town to small town, you will see that we are the norm, not the exception. Welcome, 'Pede!
Never alone! MAGA fren!
I felt the same way until some Redditor slammed me for being from T_D. Not knowing what that meant, I started researching and found this community. Visited every day since.
That is hilarious. God is good.
Just a reminder: Your Church is the Church, not your local congregation. God is king of the Church and he loves Donald John Trump as much as He loves Joe Robinette Biden and as much as He loves u/wanderingUlysses. It's a kingdom which supercedes our petty politics.
So don't let them get you down. But we got your back in the mean time.
Jesus just gave you your upvote back.
You are loved, fren!
Choose Greatness
The overwhelming support and love from this community speaks volumns about the character of the people who constitute it. My heart truly swells with pride when I think of just how compassionate and welcoming you all are towards complete strangers such as myself! Godbless you!
Welcome Ulysses!
Thank you AnnieMm! ?
Man you are far from alone. I’m mid 30s with two sons
Good papapede.
Most Bible believing and teaching pastors support Trump. His pro-life, pro-family, and pro-Israel standpoints are too obvious to support for logical Christians.
Seriously, moving Israeli embassy to Jerusalem was HUGE!
Alone? Not by a long shot! You may be isolated, but never alone. We got you!
We are not alone! We elect presidents!
No, you are not alone, you just live in a far left bubble.
I have friends and family the same way, but I smile and vote my conscience. Some people can be gently led to the issues. It's surprising how much they think they know, and they have it all wrong. Discussing in a nonjudgmental, informative way can have results if they aren't set in their preconceived delusions. Otherwise, love them anyway and do your part to keep our country free and safe for us all.
Amen brother! Not only are you not alone, you're actually the majority. That feeling of isolation is a multinational, multitrillion dollar industrial complex trying to make you feel that way. Reeeeesist the false song of globalism pede!!
You are not alone!
You can bet your boots that a good number of those who hate Trump in public to fit in with their supposed friends will sure as hell pull that lever for DJT in the privacy of the voting booth.
I'm very science-minded so let's examine the facts! By both Plato's 4 causes and biology's 7 requirements for life, an unborn child is alive. This proves abortion is murder, which is why the original Hyppocratic oath, by which all Doctors swore on their Honor, forbade it! A percentage of women argue if it is her body, then it is her choice (as if her body belonged solely to her and not also her Creator), but the child has a unique DNA sequence different than hers, as a result of half the DNA from her and half from the Father. So it is your body, your choice for murder or not? Those kind of women have a cold heart that pumps icewater through her veins. Another argument women attempt is that men should not have a voice on abortion, as if women are the only sex capable of right reason AND as if the Father does not have say when he wants to keep his child but she doesn't. (If a man made this argument, it is obviously self-defeating). Furthermore, in economic law, opportunity sets show us that abortion is another option for the pregnant women and the end of all options for an aborted unborn child. Moreover, in language, we say a pregnant woman is withchild. Clearly, all roads lead to one destination. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed because of their sins. Lest we also perish before the Stars, I believe we must recognize that an unborn child has the unalienable, God-given natural right to life and to kill an unborn child deprives the chance to know the Savior, and is to extinguish the Holy Spirit who dwells within, which is an attempted murder of the Lord.
Female preacher?
Yes. How did you know?
Women can't handle a real man. They get offended when someone speaks the truth. It's why they are not fit to lead churches. They tend to want to please people and avoid conflict, so what happens when they are confronted with a moral issue like the evil of homosexuality? Well they try to be "nice" and say it's fine, supporting corruption in the same way that Eve corrupted Adam.
They are currently usurping the God given authority of man in all aspects of society, but it's most egregious in the spiritual realm. The proper order is God in Christ, Christ in man, man over woman, and woman over children.
A man is supposed to embody Christ and guide the woman towards the light (logic, the nature of God), and away from the darkness of her emotions (the spiritual nature of Satan). The very idea that a woman can explain God to a man is absurd, because women only receive salvation through submission to the authority of God through the man (their father or husband) and his connection with Christ, which is then passed along through her to the children.
That's not to say a man is perfect just by virtue of being a man. Men can take on the nature of their mothers, becoming weak, feminine, and angry. It's just easier for a man to find God on his own than it is for a woman to do so.
