Unfortunately you're not going to see a perp walk. This is honestly minor league compared to MANY other things that have all ready been passed over and memory holed. GOP needs to grow a spine.

There wi be a resolution entered tomorrow to censure Schumer. Since he is a minority in the Senate, he could possibly be censured if he doesn't make a BIG public apology and denounce violence.

You see how the media reacts when he does something normal. Imagine how it would play out if he went after Schumer.

He's winning the hearts and minds. Hope for better results after the election.

I'm happy he's got the balls to say out loud what we all are saying among ourselves. Yeah, maybe it won't lead to anything because very few people are doing their part. Or maybe there are moves being made that we aren't aware of yet. Schumer just threatened two supreme court justices though. Imagine how weak he must be to resort to threats. He's a mess, and Pelosi is a mess and tearing up the SOTU. I believe this is the end of something that's been working behind the scenes for decades, and the fact that the Dems and RINOs are attacking hard gives me faith that better times are coming.

I see 5 more years of Trump working hard to finish the wall, get an infrastructure bill and make great trade deals.

After that, we so fucked it’s not even funny.

Those things form the necessary foundation of what comes next. If the conservatives don't put up a good candidate I'll step up myself. We all need to be willing to fight to keep best country that's ever existed. I believe that the best is yet to come.

I feel the optimism in your sentiments. I really do.

My question to you is: If Trump can’t stop them now, what makes you think it will be better in the future? Trump is our best chance at righting the ship and tweets like this, when not followed up with actions, are poking holes in the bottom of the boat.

Things are so much better than they were in 2017. Every other article I saw was just an anticipation of Trumps resignation. We just didn't know how bad it was on inauguration day. Trump wasn't supposed to win. There are a few Senators that need to lose their seats, and things can finally happen. I just think they are implicated in the shady dealings. Trump should be able to call an issue out, and it gets addressed. Yea he doesn't have the backing yet, but it's getting better every day. Don't lose faith this close to the finish. It's darkest before dawn. Any other cheesy idiom that helps lol.

"Our president shouldn't talk about things unless he's going to be a dictator, guys."

C’mon. I’m making the point that he only exposes his weakness with respect to being able hold people accountable so he should refrain from such moves.

If chuckles committed a crime and Trump can’t do anything about it, what good does it do to highlight his inabilities? It doesn’t win hearts and minds, but rather acts as a wet blanket on our expectations of justice.

The purpose of a tweet like this is twofold:

  1. It highlights to normal people that the normal operation of President isn't to be dictator - some younger folk might be a bit confused after watching eight years of Obummer do whatever the fuck he felt like.

  2. It highlights to normal people just how corrupt, two-faced, and hypocritical the Dems are, and further, that the machinery of government is deeply broken. No one can pretend that 'things are working just fine' when the Senate minority leader is busy threatening Supreme Court justices with impunity.

I’ll concede to the purposes you mention.

To rebut I’ll use an analogy: The side effect of the medication is worse than the ailment.

Just off the top of my head working backward, Trump made very similar statements about Lurch and the Logan act. Nothing was done, even though there was a clear violation. Same with Dem Senator Murphy. Trump blasted him with the accusations, but it didn’t amount to anything. Now we have Schumer poppin’ off at the mouth and all Trump can do is point out what should be done. The pattern is exposing his weakness as opposed to exposing their malfeasance.

I’d be much happier if he took another angle in his tweets when it comes to pointing the finger at his enemies. As it stands, all I see is chuck saying, “what the fuck are YOU gonna do about it”.

I disagree. It shows the Trump Army that he is aware and disgusted about a call to violence or a blackmail attempt by fear from the Ds and the pro-abortion corporations. He is joining in with the Right to Life portion of his base... millions in number. Most of us realize that this is two other branches going at it, and Trump can do nothing but call out this poor behavior. McConnell should hsve denounced this in no uncertain terms.

I hear what you’re saying. It’s frustrating seeing these traitors skate free but he’s not a dictator he can’t just snap his fingers and line them up in front of a firing squad. It’s an uphill battle for him with very few allies.

Concern trolling tonight huh? I didn't realize it was trumps job to personally go to peoples houses and arrest them.

Can you believe they deleted an honest to goodness, Trump supporter’s opinion? We have to be able to discuss things here unless we want a circle jerk.

IMO, Trump has hurt himself by tweeting “must pay a price”. If he doesn’t deliver, it will be the final blow to his credibility on this very specific issue.

I figured you deleted them. Yea not cool, we can check your history, see you're not a troll, and downvote if we disagree.

I know my delivery is politically incorrect, but the site allows for that. I am a serious supporter of our President and all he’s accomplished so I fail to see how constructive criticism in an attempt to minimize what I see as a weakness could be against any of the rules.

The description of the site clearly says “we have discussions”. Apparently, that’s only if you agree.

You are entitled to your opinion, although it sounds very passive aggressive to me, as well as incorrect.

It's not his branch. A resolution to censure Schumer will be introduced in the Senate tomorrow.
