We really need de-centralized distributed hosting among ourselves as the ultimate backup. Same type of tech as torrents, or bitcoin. Everyone gives a little disk space, everyone becomes a server. Your computer would hold maybe a week's worth of posts, and as you browse, it would update. The when someone clicks a link you already have, you could serve their request.
This is the atom bomb to big tech censorship.
Eat an elephant one bite at a time. Write a client that reads all the odd numbered posts on the front page. Then one that reads all the even ones. Then teach them to talk to another program. Etc.
