Someone yesterday had the idea to push Schumer to release his communications on the grounds that he has previously threatened his political foes with intel agency retribution. If he refuses, throw his own "If you've got nothing to hide..." rhetoric in his face. Seems like a winner of an idea to me.

He was arguing his speech may not be protected by the debate clause because congress was not in session. It hasn't been tested legally, he argued, because no one has EVER so explicitly threatened justices in such a manner.

He’s also refused to put the senate into full recess since Trump was elected to stop him from making any recess appointments as all other presidents have done. He has said - -again - that he will block the confirmation of John Ratcliffe for DNI. McConnell is up for re-election this year. He is no friend of MAGA.
