As a New Yorker, this is just going to make our politicians even more stubborn, and convinced that they're fighting for justice and equality, against the Nazi Drumph who wants to punish us for not arresting all Mexicans. We're gonna lose funding, but nothing good is going to come of it.
We need a way to force cities to not provide sanctuaries for killers and rapists.
Taking funding from a state IS empowering the federal government, but in this case it's justified. You don't follow federal law, you don't get federal funds. Easy.
