When I was young, I said I was to the right of Barry Goldwater. Later I said I was to the right of Ronald Reagan. Much better alliteration. I was so disgusted with Bush reneging in his No New Taxes pledge that I voted for Perot. Then in the worst vote of my life, I voted for Romney rather than support Perot again.

I no longer consider myself Republican. I now consider myself a Patriot. They're all too far left for me.
