I was watching it thinking if Joe Biden ends up being the Democrat nominee it will be borderline elder abuse. Donald Trump will destroy sleepy creepy Joe in any debate.
I work with a liberal who legitimately thinks Joe will be a good debater against Trump. "They're both old white men, it'll just be an insult fest, and Trump cant make up good insults." It's a slow and annoying process talking politics with him because he is an utterly terrible excuse for a human being. I can see why liberal politics attract him. But I feel like my brain is slowly dying in his presence. He's at least just a misinformed idiot. He doesn't argue against facts that I can show him at least. We were both shocked that immigration in 2018 was higher than in 2012. Not by much, but still.
Agreed. He came across as very friendly. It was clearly a comfortable scenario... but it was also a new forum to see Trump interact in... almost like a mini trump rally on like a dr Phil type stage.. he could off on whatever he wanted, but was also close enough to interact with individuals without having to point them out in a crowd of tens of thousands of people.
Thought the exact same thing. I wish that he would’ve taken that opportunity to point out that the lion’s share of our present problems with healthcare exist because of prior (and ongoing) government involvement.
Beyond Obamacare's complete fuckening of the healthcare industry. Before that, healthcare issues were still present. Such as hospitals and other health-care providers charging ridiculous prices to insurance companies, whom will haggle the prices down. But charging the same prices to people with no insurance. What could be done about those shenanigans?

And I think Elizabeth Warren was originally going to stay in until the convention, but Trump has just been hammering her and if she let him keep that up, he would eventually have all the progressives turned against her, ruining her whole political brand. She is not just getting out, she is diving for cover. This is giving Bernie’s campaign more of a boost than even Bernie is. Think about that Bernie supporters. Trump is out there doing more for your guy than your guy is. Isn’t that the quality you want in a leader?
