I would love to here stories of people leaving the Democrat Party. My hunch is there are a lot of us. I'll go first.
I was center-left, but I voted for Obama his first term (The first Presidential election I could vote in). I didn't vote in 2012 because Obama was an utter disappointment and I didn't like Romney... and I still don't like Romney.
2016 came around. I was starting to question things.... I didn't like the crazy progressives and I couldn't stand Hillary Clinton. However, I just couldn't vote for Trump because I listened to a lot of sound bytes from the media that cut things out of context. So I passed on voting altogether and my husband (a life-long Republican) voted third party because Trump just felt like a wild card.
Cut to election night. We are watching, and it was the biggest gut check moment. I found myself feeling happy when states flipped red. (For the first time ever lol). I was in shock when Trump won, but I felt excited about it. Since then, I've been fully red-pilled. I consider myself a Republican and Trump-supporter. I am amazed at how much Trump has accomplished and how much he has helped our country. I can't wait to vote for him in 2020!!!!!!!! And my husband feels the same way. He is the greatest President in my lifetime, and I can't wait to watch him win again!!!! :)
Please leave your stories below!!!! I think it's encouraging to see all the people who maybe didn't vote for him in 2016, but will in 2020!
Look up walkaway.
