I can't wait til the census workers come to my neighborhood. I'm going to tell them if they can't ask who is and isn't a US citizen, their census is no good and they'd better gtfo while they still can.
America is more than a country. It's an idea. And people who want more than to live of the government teat will eventually embrace that idea, given time. As you build wealth over your lifespan, you find that you want to leave some to your children. Then they have a better life, they leave even more to their kids, etc. Accumulating wealth naturally leads people to want the status quo to remain so their life will stay good and their children's lives will stay good.
America is the first and one of the only countries in the world where upward social movement is even possible, and we've proven conclusively that when people have that possibility open to them, they work their asses off to get it. No, not all of them, but the majority. So when illegals have children, down the line those kids become MAGA Americans for the most part.
But the Democrats can't have that. They exist only by exploiting the poor and keeping them that way. You can't stay in power by promising people free shit when people already have the things they want and don't need your help and in fact would like you to leave them alone and stop taking their shit to give it away.
So the Democrats have to have a permanent underclass and facilitate it with open borders.
With a wall in place, it won't matter in the long term how many illegals are having babies, because 50 years from now their grandkids will be mostly MAGA.
That's why a large, physical wall is so important. It's not to save America for tomorrow. It's to save America 50 years from now, 100 years from now, and it's even more important than confirming judges. Social expectations change, but America's fundamental principles won't, unless we are overrun too quickly by people who don't hold those ideals. If we stop the flow, the new generations will assimilate. America may look different in the process, but the founding principles won't die off like they are now when a hard border is in place and people that hate us can't be imported wholesale anymore.
Another funny factor is that a lot of the illegal aliens are also pretty Christian, so in those 50 or 100 years, with all the illegal aliens becoming citizens because of the 'magic dirt' law, America will ironically become more religious, directly due to policies put in place by athiest democrats
