It clearly is not having an effect in the US to the extent that was feared. Whatever, I prepped and all... but I really don't think it's going to be that bad... now that some time has gone by since POTUS' measures at the end of January.
If you're younger than 32 sure, it won't be that bad. But it absolutely is going to be bad for infants / boomers and those over that age threshold. I'd also politely argue that time hasn't really gone by at all yet. You need to give it two weeks once you hear about the first signs of community spread on the West coast to REALLY know what it can or can't do in the U.S.
