Well, South Korea has the best data on the virus and a health care system similar to ours and the rate of death is at .6%.

Those are “reported cases”. Not everyone will have symptoms that indicate infection as the data from South Korea has shown.

Exactly, because the virus is asymptomatic for a range of 4-14 days in infected cases. The regular flu isn't even close to being asymptomatic for that long. What's your point?

The point is the only way to get a clear picture of the death rate is to collect data and analyze it. The best data we have shows that the current rate if death is at .6%.
Attempting to calculate a death rate using shitty data provides results that are laughably out of whack....like the idea that the death rate in the US (6%) is higher that the rate in China (5%).
