As someone who has watched a parent go through mental decline, I think it's despicable what they are doing to Biden. His family should be ashamed for allowing him to continue in this race. They almost certainly are aware that allowing him to continue with such a strenuous schedule will only speed up his decline.
they won't be voting for Biden, they will be voting for his VP and for the gaggle of deep staters that are propping him up. Heaven forbid but if Biden were to get the vote, we would have zero idea of who is running the country, who is making decisions, how much in-fighting is going on.
When Trump took office is was indeed an outsider and it has taken (and will continue to take) years to find the 2nd/3rd/4th layers of disloyalty within our government.
Don't worry, the leadership wouldn't be in his hands, it would be in the hands of a cadre of unelected entrenched government alphabet department heads who would find the "interdepartmental consensus" on how the country should be run. The more useless, confused and easily manipulated the President would be the better they like it.

I can remember when asked about his age, he said, don't vote for him. Thanks, makes deciding alot easier with that honesty
