The article you linked says the exact opposite of what your post title says. It says the UW test got FDA approval and they will start using it.

Nice try.

Article linked in title is from 3/5/20. Article linked in my comment is from this morning, and says:

In partnership with the CDC, we have updated our screening guidelines for COVID-19. We have halted performing nasopharyngeal testing in our outpatient clinics, including our urgent care locations.

Within 24 hours of Washington State independently developing a test for the virus (because CDC was not supplying promised test kits), CDC shut it down. I wish it was just a "nice try". Something sinister is going on.

Your post is about University of Washington. The link you provided in your comment is related to EvergreenHealth (whoever that is).

Stop the bullshit.

Ahhh, you're asserting that since CDC shut down testing at Evergreen (the major healthcare provider at the center of Washington's hot zone) there is no reason to suspect they are shutting it down at other hospitals in the State of Washington (where the University of Washington developed the test). That is big brain power, the kind of big brain power CDC needs to contain this threat. You should consider a career as an un-elected mid level government bureaucrat lodged in critical infrastructure. The inter-agency consensus needs you.
