“I’m sure you would agree that our Democratic nominee should be a person who will stand up for what is right. So I ask that you have the courage to do that now in the face of the DNC’s effort to keep me from participating in the debates,” Gabbard tweeted.
I'm very fond of Tulsi (in a Marianne Williamson sort of way), and even think she might be decent POTUS material a couple of decades from now, after she's gotten a lot more reality checks like the ones she's getting during this campaign. But suggesting that either Bernie or Joe gives a crap about "what is right" or has any actual "courage" is pretty absurd. At least she has the sense not to include the hopelessly corrupt DNC in her plea for courage and righteousness.
Bullshit. Her policies are the same as Bernie's but worse. He's a con, she's a true believer. Her campaign platform of reparations, gun control, amnesty, universal healthcare, etc... show she wipes her ass with the constitution. No amount of reality checks will render her fit to polish the toilets in the White House let alone qualify her to sit in the oval office.
I'm pretty sure that most of pro-Gabbard people here are thirsty boys who want to bang her and have no fucking clue about her policy positions and political ideology.
She's young and naive. Some of the stuff in her "platform" is just things she feels she has to say to not get frozen out by Dem party leadership. Her history is much less leftist. She also served in Iraq. I'm not saying I'd want her in the Oval Office any time soon, but she's smart and as honest as a politician can be. And this campaign is giving her a whole new perspective on the corruption and hypocrisy in the DNC. She strikes me as likely to go the way of David Horowitz.
Policy positions change. She used to actively oppose gay marriage. Her roots are fairly conservative, and I expect she'll change a lot over the next couple of decades. She is very young for a POTUS candidate -- too young, IMO. David Horowitz was about her age when he started privately questioning his longstanding devotion to leftist ideology, and it was another decade or so before he made a public U-turn, and became an extremely valuable conservative activist. Read and learn: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Horowitz It's counterproductive to write people off this early in their careers. It's clear she's already at odds with the Democratic party power-brokers, and not backing down.
Well, if she changes almost all of her policy positions, switches parties, and establishes a solid track record of voting MAGA in Congress, then maybe we can reassess the situation in a few decades. Never mind the fact that none of that is likely to happen. I mean, you could say exactly the same thing about AOC or any of the other young commie Democrats.
AOC is corrupt to the core. So is the rest of the "squad". No hope for them -- they don't even believe a word of what they spout. Tulsi is young and still a bit naive and idealistic. She's a genuine liberal who is in the process of getting mugged.

She's great if you like socialism. Have you read her policy positions? She is about as far removed from MAGA as you can get.
