It could just be people trying to give the_Donald another home on reddit... not realizing or accepting that such an endeavor is a complete waste of time.
r/trump was created 10 years ago. It's based (and still has leftists providing salt).
r/donald_trump was created 4 years ago. It also seems to be based (and also has salt providers punching the clock).
