Got to get one of those. They have solar powered spotlights somewhere, I think big lots carries them. Have to get over there today anyway to return a recliner that broke three months after purchase. Because it's a piece of crap made in China with flakeboard π
LED light on it's own post, pointed at the flag and the street.
It will keep light shined in the eyes of the Antifa/Democrats that will try and deface your American flag/flag pole.
They cost about a dollar a day for me to run 6 pair like these :
28W Amico Dusk to Dawn LED Outdoor Lighting 5000K 2500lm LED Security Lights IP65 Waterproof Flood Lights
The best part is that with a spare extension cord male plug from a dollar store you can make them work with an extension cord instead of having to get an electrician to satisfy any code requirements in your area.
LED lights draw ridiculously small amps so you can use the thin cords that allow the connection to be stuffed back inside the casing of the light. They now become covered under Xmas lighting bylaws, because they are very low power and plug into standard extension cords.
No digging trenches and no expensive electricians... but the lights are bright! Auto on and auto off with zero flicker during day to night transitions.
Got a trump flag which I would love to put on it. However, as pleasant as the neighborhood is, and as much as I would love to fly it on the pole, nobody really has anything political out in front of their houses as of yet. Hard to gauge the neighborhood and don't really know that many people on the street. The Patriot in me wants to put it up immediately. But, the homeowner in me is thinking psycho Lefty with a Molotov could really wrecked my entire life π . However, I did put a nice bright yellow "don't tread on me"flag beneath it, which I will post a shot of today.
I really wish that someone would put out a copy of the centipede flag I have seen posted.
Well, if you look really closely at the top of the black fence in front of it, you'll see that I added an extra support between the Pole and the fence for added structural integrity. 1- 2" clevis hanger fits perfectly around the diameter of the pole. Used a inch and a half clevis hanger around the fence, and cut the piece of threaded rod to length when pole was plum.
thank you All so much for your positive feedback π! Truly warms my heart 2 here so many other Patriots out there appreciate the hard work that goes into loving America. Hopefully, it will have inspired others who have wanted one in their yard to go get one themselves. πΊπΈ
Not sure what the ruling is on that with more durable material of today. I see a lot of flags out in front of homes, businesses and departments 24/7. Rain or shine.
This owner of a flag pole sees quality in the photo of yours. A very handsome sectional pole{you will like that when the rope breaks, and you have to thread a new halyard]. It looks like a swivel top to it. A good printed, I think, flag to the pole.
I fly a 33 star flag, with the 1900 Maine State flag on my 25 ft staff, set into a large block of poured cement
Query, what is the base set into? I see you have it secured to the iron fence, which looks none too strong.
I note an empty flag staff just beyond yours! Last, this looks like New England, Mass. perhaps?
It is actually a 20-foot Pole that I got at harbor freight for $63. Flag is 3 by 5, also at harbor freight. Unfortunately, didn't realize it was a stiff nylon and is going to take a while to break in. However, it is telescoping, and unfortunately, I found that a few hours later it dropped down no matter how hard I twisted to secure it. Had to shoot screws into each joint to keep it at full length.if you decide to go with the harbor freight one, you may as well do that right off the bat as well.
Harbor freight is both a blessing and a curse. A 20' pole should handle a 4x6 flag. With the 2nd flag you added though in your other post, I'm not sure. How windy does it get there? If you put too much flag at the top of the pole, the wind might bend it over.
I think that the op's flagpole is mighty fine. Looks really good to me. GOD bless him and his family. I guess to each their own. Please when you erect your flagpole share a picture or two with us. I promise I wont be judgmental.
I live in a shitty apartment complex, so I couldn't put up a true pole. So happy that there are laws allowing us to fly the flag, otherwise my complex would probably make me take it down.
Funny you should go on about bigger flags. While I was out later that day, I saw a yuuugge flag flying at a Hyundai dealership while I was at an intersection. One of those flags that could fill my living room wall to wall. Just blowing in the wind so majestically was an awesome sight to see π€
"Beep boop beep.....For the love of God, get this patriot a coat! So far we have given away 0000001 coats! Holy SHIT, this is the FIRST ON TD.win!"
I am a non-bot person created by my mom and dad.
I saw your mom plug your name, haha.
Night light?

Not bad for $30.
Thanks! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, Pede!
The street light across might be enough to keep out of the dark..Just a thought
They really look majestic at night with a spotlight.
Fly it with pride, Pede.
Nice! On my to do list as well!
What a beautiful sight. Only way to make it better is to get a Trump 2020 flag to go along with it!

Absolutely beatiful.
I hope to be posting a picture like this one day. Very nice flag!
Fly that flag proudly, especially on election day! (It makes people vote Republican, don'tchaknow?)
Nice! Close to the sidewalk though. Somebody is going to mess with it.

Well... I fastened a pully on the top and am using a rope to make go up/down, so...

God Bless America!

Good work!
Ya know itβs racist and bad for the environment to have a single family home, shitlord! New zoning regulations are coming!
Looking great!
Why so small?
Ya like'em big?
Yup! That looks like a 3x5. I prefer at least the 4x6. How tall is that pole?
Annin makes the best flags.

Hopefully not too much wind. But, it does go from rags to riches here.

Ah she's a looker!! Looking good, GOD bless.
Go back to reddit. Seriously.
What? Why? I want a bigger flag. 4x6. Go big!
