I remember way back in the old days when you wanted to rig an election you had to “find” boxes of uncounted ballots in the trunk of a car parked in the alley. Now thanks to modern technology you can just reach into your pocket and “find” a thumb drive full of uncounted ballots. Now that’s Progress!
Pretty sure, the recount is not digital, we have paper ballots here that will be ran through the counters. That county (and mine) use a system that prints a paper ballot and those are used for recounts.
What's disturbing is there is no quality control in place to ensure the drives are not accounted for on election night. Some type of documentation that 10 drives should come from a precinct, and when 9 arrive, they can do more than just say "guess we got them all". I realize with the dems, this is what gives them the opportunity to manipulate votes and vote counts but this is a serious flaw in election security

Reminder that if you vote using any kind of software and votes are transported in fucking thumb drives it is not a legitimate election and is fully prepped for rigging, miscounts, and manipulations.
The most secure voting we know exists consists of paper ballots stored in boxes monitored by all interested parties at all times. Boxes do not contain malware that can flip votes or wipe entire collections of them.
Ask any security or cryptography expert. The chain of trust for software voting and transportation via storage media or god forbid the Internet is nonexistent.
Someone might want to check the date/timestamps on those files.

I agree. I know how elections are run in Texas, and votes aren't tallied or submitted on thumb drives. I'm calling BS on this report.
