What happens when a high-status politician calls for violence? Do people start discussing it, encouraging it? Is there a way to detect the encouragement of the weak-minded?
We have enough examples of this, with Elizabeth Warren, Hillary Clinton, Maxine Waters, and Chuck Schumer having done something similar.
Of course, it was part of the DNC playbook in the 2016 election, as confirmed by payment to people who followed Republican events.

The left seems to be talking about killing people, a lot. Is there an uptick from this latest speech by Schumer? What data shows this?

I won't complain too much about this. Freedom of speech is what's keeping the weasels at the FBI from swatting all of us here. Schumer is scum all right, but what he said wasn't quite a direct threat or incitement on its own. The bad press is the real consequence and in a sane world he'd lose his next election.
Nothing will be done, nothing ever gets done apparently.
