Wuhan flu is more than three times as contagious as regular flu, and has just under a 4% death rate in the US (30 times as deadly). THIS IS NOT THE FLU. Anyone telling you reporting on this is overblown is a retarded neckbeard that can’t grasp basic math

Actual rate is estimated to be between 0.1-% and 1%, and mostly affects older people or those with compromised immune systems. Those people have some reason to worry, the rest of us are in good shape. Many people get it have NO symptoms because it is so mild.
The flu has killed over 20,000 Americans this year alone. It kilks 300,000 - 500,000 worldwide EVERY year. Every statistic with the coronavirus ought to be required to be displayed along side the flu so that people can see what a crock of shit they are being sold. It’ll die down within a month or so on its on as flu season ends.
Actual rate is estimated to be anywhere from 1% to 3.5% iirc. Flu is .1% with vaccines and herd immunity helping with that.
Perspective is key.

The 4% morbidity rate is only high due to the small sample size. The sickest ones are the ones being tested.
So far if you are not 65+ and or with serious preexisting health issues the rate is below 1%.
exactly.
This is why I think South Korea's numbers are going to be interesting to watch. Apparently they are trying to test everybody.
Yeah... the problem with the "death rate" is that only certain people with very high risk or very severe symptoms are tested. In reality, there are probably millions of people who have it, or have had it, and are fine. The "death rate" stat is a complete joke.
Dibs on your stereo and video tapes.
I want his toilet paper!!!
Thanks for the concern trolling, dipshit.
Thank you for saying this. I actually came here today looking for Wuhan flu news.
I was a long time user of T_D, stayed well past the quarantine and over the last 4-5 years came to know that place as the one news source I could trust really. Does it seem strange to anybody that right when the Wuhan flu started spreading in the US Reddit axed all of the T_D mods and essentially killed the sub? Ever since I've been trying to find a place like the old T_D for information on this virus and I was hoping that I would find it here but, I'm not seeing it really covered. I'm so confused to be honest.
Why did this get downvoted?? 🤔
