Sure, I was lost for a while when 8CHAN and Reddit subverses got abruptly "removed". This DS censorship, although expected, was still a shock, for the AWAKE Patriots of our country, that our beloved USA could sink so far down into the clutches of the DC Swamp. It was basically an act of WAR toward Patriots of the United States of America. Like most of us, the search for a new gathering place led us to various oddball places. For me that place became VOAT, reluctantly, but it seemed like the only refuge where Trump supporters could express our First Amendment Free Speech and discuss the silent cyber war against the MAGA movement, without being banned for it. What a a bruising experience it was for the last year and a half, but now thanks to TheDonald.WIN. I have been set free.
Today, I am officially making TheDonald.Win my new go to home and it is clear, the membership here is over the top and still going up for all the right reasons.
1)- Excellent owner/mods. What a wonderful job you all do to keep things cleaned up, I feel safe here, unlike Voat.
2)- The UI is quick and real time, unlike Voat
3)- Down-voting is for good cause on Shills, Trolls and Garbage posters, unlike Voat.
4)- Memes are plentiful and excellent for the most part, unlike Voat.
5)- Owners keep us informed about stuff, like the last effort to ban us (again) by an unnamed host. TheDonald.win techs were ON IT! Back up after only a few hours, unlike Voat.
6)- People are abandoning Voat's Patriotriotic subverses in droves. I'm betting it's for many of the same reasons I am now doing so.
Way too many scum shills, racist name calling slurs, trolls and the whole down voting brigade wars, thrive in Voat and are well rooted there, while the Owner/Mods do nothing to correct this behavior. Voat seems to thrive on shit posting from sick hateful morons. Enough is enough! Bye, bye Voat, and I am hoping the many great Patriots from there will migrate to here as well. My choice is to leave all that behind now.

yes it will generally cost more to host for a variety of reasons. its also impossible to transition to something else without a rewrite (anything else would be too time consuming)
.net is not bad per se, but my understanding is that puttitout was simply good with that framework so used it to get things going. it makes sense and wasnt a bad decision at the time in my mind. its just not great now.

That’s actually an apt description. I’m still there and here to maximize research, but you are spot on with your description. This place is an oasis for sure and I’m grateful for it. Man, I miss r/greatawakening, though. Those were the golden days... this site seems like a merge of that awesome sub and r/The_Donald, which is a perfect combo imo.
In the past month, I did a number of tests posting duplicate links in GA and TGA, to compare response. Conclusion: There is no comparison. Voat is definitely slipping further into the muck. Can't stand GAB either. Hopefully, TheDonald.WIN can hold the line for all Patriots to shine brightly in the darkness all around us.
i still browse voat.co (no, not the great awakening or q nonsense) and /r/conspiracy personally, but the noise to signal ratio is quite bad compared to tdw.
