Also, I don't want America to look like the fucking United Nations, I want America to look white and black with a few of latinos and asians, just like it was 40 years ago. I don't give a shit if this offends anyone.
Even anecdotally and at a minimum I have never seen anything unique come out of a diverse group. Me being surrounded by different ethnicities at work has not done anything beyond what an all white workforce would produce. There is not one proven thing anyone can point to in my company that happened only becaue we are diverse. Not one thing. I'm still waiting for evidence of the contrary.
I agree. I did biomedical research in a lab at some large university in Boston. We were ca. 20 postdoctoral researchers, only 4 were white, the rest was from all over the world. The white ones published the best papers because they were more creative and able to think out of the box. The others just did what the lab leader, a Chinese immigrant, told them, without asking questions and no matter whether he was right or wrong (he was wrong quite often). I guess companies like hard working, easily to intimidate foreigners who have to worry about getting fired and deported if they don't obey. Also, people from certain cultures are more likely to blindly follow orders, esp. Asians. From what I've seen, I literally cannot imagine a Chinese or Indian worker stand up for himself if treated unfairly. That's perhaps why they push the diversity crap on us, selling it as some kind of benefit whereas in fact it's all about an easily to control, cheap work force, at least as far as immigrant workers are concerned.
That is consistent with my undergrad in engineering. Foreign students aced exams which were the majority of our grades and so they were the top of the class. But for ABET degrees there is a huge practical component even though it is not highly weighted. They were usless in labs and practicales. I did all of it and they just came along for the ride, not capable of independent thought or creativity, not capable of even doing the math they had just aced when it came down to actually using it for something. Not capable of writing paper or giving presentations. Without B average white guys ike me they could not have graduated. Ever since then Ive realized that the diversity push is a total scam and does not produce any kind of strength.
