Which is the total opposite of the 2009 H1N1 virus, yet I don’t remember the same level of panic. EIGHTY SEVEN PERCENT of the deaths were UNDER 65!! It hit working age adults and CHILDREN particularly hard. Lots of deaths in children. Don’t remember this same level of panic then.
“Eighty-seven percent of deaths occurred in those under 65 years of age with children and working adults having risks of hospitalization and death 4 to 7 times and 8 to 12 times greater, respectively, than estimates of impact due to seasonal influenza covering the years 1976-2001.”
I was like 13 or 14 at the time and that was the sickest I have ever been in my life. My fever hit 102 on the second day but broke on my way to go see my family doctor who said "Well it's some kinda flu, and your fever already broke so that's a good sign". By the third day I felt fine but I stayed home from school for 2 weeks, better safe than sorry.
Nobody has claimed is wasnt happening. Just that it wasnt a serious issue unless you are already old and or sick.
Dr. Ben Carson said the same thing I just said above so I guess he's stupid too.

Yep, I had H1N1 in 2009, and even at 42 years old it kicked my ass.
