Hope this is okay to post here. Looking at taking a holiday to the USA in President Trumps second term. There seems to be so many beautiful places, just wondering if you guys have any favourites?

Definitely depends on the season and what you're in to. If you're outdoorsy, Glacier National Park, Lake of the Woods (I'm biased, from MN), Yellowstone, are amazing. You can really do anything you want in whatever environment you want. It's not exactly classic Americana, but on the big island of Hawaii you can do everything from snow skiing to snorkeling in the same day.

For what it's worth, the best vacation I ever had was renting a houseboat and cruising around fishing, swimming and sailing on Lake of the Woods at the northern border between Canada and US.

Probably spring or fall for the season. Museums, historical places and beautiful scenery is kinda mine and my husband's jam. We have a few places we are sure we want to go ( yellow stone, d.c, somewhere southern and Hawaii on the way back). But when looking at America it is so big and there is so much we could do its kinda overwhelmingly to decided, its why I thought I'd make this post just to get idea of other people's favourite places. Definitely going to check out lake of the woods and see what that is about. A few beers on a house boat sounds like something my husband would love.

Boston has all of that, and has not been reduced to shithole city status, yet.
