Look at the infection numbers graphed out over time, and compare them to the 2009 Swine Flu. Coronavirus has already peaked and will start diminishing now.

Not quite yet. The number of active cases was declining, but has started back up again:

However, this might be caused by more widespread testing.

The good news is that the total number of serious and critical cases is still declining:
