these have got to be bullshit. they all feel and look just like regular plastic. even if they do legit biodegrade, i bet they take like 20x energy at some point in their lifecycle that negates everything. either that or the bio-degradation ends up releasing huge plumes of greenhouse gasses. all of these schemes end up like that
still I actually am not bothered much by efforts to cut back on plastic consumption. none of us can really control how our plastics are disposed. eventually some cheap bastard ends up dumping it all in the ocean. that's nasty and hard to clean up
