Great write up, the best that can come from this situation is it is waking everyone up to the obvious pitfalls of globalism and open borders.

Do you think new companies that open up during this trump presidency or a post trump world could expatriates their manufacturing overseas? I think those days are gone or quickly on their way out. I dont see a path I could do that with my businesses, my customers would freak out. But I am in the south so my perspective may be biased on this issue

It’s a good thing Trump enticed so many investors to bail from China during the first round of tariffs. If he can continue the stalling tactic with China and draw out the second phase of the trade deal, more security will come from the surrounding countries ability to produce as they grow their manufacturing sector.
