Is there anything that Trump and I don't agree on?
I've been saying for years that the DST switching needs to go away.
In 2005 GW signed a law that changed DST start and end dates. This was the worst thing they could have done -so stupid. It was a programmer's nightmare, and broke a lot of clocks that had the DST switch built in.
Permanent or never - either way, the programmers of the world would be much happier.
Unfortunately, you still have to deal with calendar issues. Date & time is ludicrously hard to get right.
Do it...
Blasphemy. Should be the other way around
I prefer daylight time, but would support standard/non-daylight over the switching we do now.
Get out of bed an hour earlier.
Where I live, it gets dark at 4:30pm in the winter. At least with year round DST it wouldn't be dark when I get out of work
Executive Order?
👍❗👍
Do ittttttt!

Love this President beyond words.
BEST.TWEET.EVER!
I grew up with DST, then moved to a State that didn't have it when I was 16. Now that State has DST.
Can we make up our minds already? This far north it would suck getting dark so early in the winter.
No matter what your clock says it is the rotation of mother erf that controls sunrise and sunset. You want more daylight get up at sunrise.
This is why the farmers in IN kept DST out for so long. Not sure when they switched over to using it, maybe like 1995?
Native Americans also joke about "thinking they're creating more daylight."
I think it's'ONLY THE WHITE MAN THINKS YOU CAN CUT A FOOT OFF THE BOTTOM OF A BLANKET,SEW TO THE TOP AND MAKE IT A FOOT LONGER."
Lol, that's one of 'em, yeah. My favorite:
"when the US government tells you you don't need a gun
YOU NEED A GUN"
I've always had tremendous respect for our first nations and their culture
I like the time changes. It's dramatic for a day.
