I think the dems and their masters behind the scene are playing the long game here. They've given up on this election. Their goal is keeping the House majority, that's it. They're clearing out the dinosaurs in this round, and saving the next Obama for 2024. Don't know who that will be yet, they're probably still grooming him now.
The only thing they are doing is keeping Bernie from the nomination. This is like the movie "Weekend at Bernie's" only it's "Weekend at Biden's". Make everyone think he is alive until the convention.
