They're trying to manufacture a "Katrina". Start closing everything down, even though there's no potent pandemic sweeping through the land, and say it's Trump's fault.
The problem these people are making is that we're right now leaving the traditional flu season. The virus is almost certainly on its way out. So, they're going to look like idiots, when we have hardly any larger expansion.
Next they'll clamor for massive testing, in order to convince people that the virus is spreading like a wildfire. See 20,000 new cases overnight! Trump didn't do anything and now its blowing up!
