I feel like they're implying that China isn't an example of socialized medicine. If a god damn COMMUNISM isn't an example of socialized medicine, then there isn't an example in the world. Their response to the flu? Cover it up until it's out of control, then knee-jerk and shut down an entire city and march into buildings in Hazmat suits to remove the "infected" (who just happen to be political dissidents).
Do we Americans really want that instead of our freedom? I would pay any cost necessary for my healthcare to avoid that kind of situation.
